Actress Christina Applegate has had a whirlwind couple of years, having come out the other side all the better for her struggles, and now it seems she is finally going to walk down the aisle with her fiancé, musician Martin LeNoble.
The couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day of 2010 after LeNoble presented Applegate with an Edwardian style, vintage engagement ring with a total of 4 carats of diamonds. However, no wedding plans were announced and Applegate eventually gave birth to their first child, daughter Sadie Grace on January 27th, 2011.
Applegate recently told PEOPLE Magazine that having their daughter helped her to heal after her battle with Breast Cancer in 2008, eventually beating the disease with a double mastectomy.
The actress best known for her roles on the television show “Married with Children” and “Samantha Who” was previously married to actor Johnathon Scheach from 2001 until 2005, and met LeNoble shortly before her diagnosis, and spoke to Access Hollywood about his support at the time.
“My wonderful boyfriend has been just incredible through this. I really honestly, if he wasn’t there, I think there would have been a different outcome as far as my own sanity and my own strength,” Christina previously told Access. “I’ve been very lucky that he dropped into my life right as my world has turned upside down in so many ways. It was divine intervention.”
The time to exchange wedding rings, according to gossip,” it seems has come. The couple has apparently chosen a sight in Malibu for an intimate ceremony, including just their close family and friends.
“It will happen in the new few months,” a source told National Enquirer. “She spent the last months before Sadie arrived on bed rest and used much of the time to concentrate on her wedding.”
