Grammy Award winning music producer, Mark Ronson, has finally confirmed his engagement to Parisian born model, Josephine de La Baume. Although the couple has been together since 2009, rumors began circulating last month when the French beauty was photographed wearing what looked like an engagement ring at the Paris spot, Mama Shelter.
Ronson, who comes from a prominent British family, was previously engaged to Rashida Jones, actress and daughter of music legend Quincy Jones, in 2003 when Ronson created a crossword puzzle with an answer that read, “Will you marry me?” However, the couple parted ways before making it to the altar, and he was first photographed with La Baume in March of 2009.
The model, who currently stars in the new video advertisement for the lingerie company, “Agent Provocateur” was also in Ronson’s video for the 2010 single “The Bike Song,” and is currently getting ready to star alongside Rowan Atkinson in the latest “Johnny English” movie.
Ronson, who won a Grammy for his work on Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” album in 2008, is also up for Best British Male at next week’s Brit Awards. His famous family also boasts uncle and property tycoon Gerald Ronson, sister and fashion designer Charlotte Ronson, and sister and DJ Samantha Ronson, who is also well known for her relationship with actress Lindsay Lohan.
No word on any plans for a wedding yet, but there is something about this couple, something so European, that tell us this upcoming union will be one to watch.
