Tamera Mowry, one half of the onetime sitcom “Sister, Sister” finally got the wedding of her dreams last weekend when she married longtime boyfriend Fox New Correspondent Adam Housley.
It was revealed this January that the couple, who have been together for six years, became engaged after he presented her with a Verragio ring while they vacationed in Italy. Shortly after, in March, Mowry announced that she would be taking a short break from acting to plan the nuptials.
“It’s been a little bit stressful,” she told PEOPLE in March. “I want to focus on this huge transition that’s happening to me. I really want to soak it in.”
Fortunately, Mowry is also one half of the celebrity twins Tia and Tamera, who were childhood stars together in Various Disney projects.
Tia, pregnant with her first child, was happy to help, along with event planner Mindy Weiss.
“I’m picking out flowers and helping making sure the place is how she wants it and that kind of stuff,” Tia told PEOPLE. “She’s had her little bridezilla moments, but she’s been pretty cool.”
And after months of planning, the couple tied the knot at an Inn and Vineyard in Napa Valley surrounded by 300 friends and family members.
“I’ve always wanted an outdoor wedding with lots of flowers,” Mowry told PEOPLE.
The bride wore a gown by Carolina Herrera for the ceremony and later changed into a two piece outfit by Dolce and Gabbana for a sit down dinner and a four-tiered wedding cake.
The couple first danced was to Journey’s “Faithfully” before performing to LL Cool J’s “Going Back to Cali,” much to the guest’s surprise.
As the day wore on, the bride made her third outfit change into a dress by Herve Legera for the after party inside a barrel room complete with dancing and late night snacks.
All in all it was the perfect wedding for Mowry who told people, “I feel so lucky to have this beautiful day marrying my best friend.”
